EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Potin Tetradrachm (22mm, 12.04 g, 12h). Dated RY 7 (AD 243/4). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Draped bust of Selene right, wearing taenia; L Z (date) behind, large lunar crescent before. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 10271; K&G 72.143. Near VF, green and brown patina with earthen highlights, a few light scratches and minor roughness.
